2026-27 Season Dates & Deadlines

Tryouts

NOTE:  players and coaches must have an active USAV membership before attending a tryout and adults must have current background check and SafeSport training certification.  

Region Tryout Dates:  Visit the club pages to find out when they will hold tryouts for their teams

Early tryout & signing period (All ages)

• July 6, 2026 - Early tryouts may begin

• Aug 2 - Early signing period opens

• August 9 - Quiet Period (no tryouts, no mandatory events)

Middle School Tryouts (14U and younger divisions)

• Sept 30 - Middle School signing period closes during tryout period

• October 1 - Middle School Tryouts begin (14U and younger divisions)

• October 15 - Middle School signing period opens

High School Tryouts (15U - 18U divisions)

• August 9 - Quiet period for High School players (no tryouts, no mandatory events)

• November 16 - Tryout period opens

• November 27 - Signing period for HS players opens

Tournaments

2026-27 Season - Tentative (actual dates should be solidified by Mid June to allow clubs to budget for 2027.)

• Jan 9-10  Friendship Tournaments (hosted by various clubs)

• Jan 16-17  Power 1  (2-day tournament)  Divisions 6-12; Registration deadline - Dec 25

• Jan 23-24  Power 1  (2-day tournament)  Divisions 1-5; Registration deadline - Dec 25

• Feb 20-21     Power 2     

• Feb 27-28      AK Region 18U- 13U Qualifiers  

• March 13-14   Power 3   &  12U Regional Championship

• March 20-21 (18, 17, 16) Regional Championships

• April 3-4   (15, 14, 13) Regional Championships
